Company Profile

My Holy Host is a Catholic devotional publication, a growing library of prayers, scripture, patron saints, Bible studies, and pilgrimage resources built for the daily life of devotion. I designed and built the site on WordPress, shaping the brand's visual language and translating a deep, multi-layered body of content into a calm, browsable reading experience.

What I Did

The challenge was structural as much as visual: a devotional library spanning six major sections, Prayers & Devotions, Saints, Scripture, Bible Studies, Pilgrimage, and Catholic Questions, each with its own nested taxonomy. I designed an information architecture that lets a visitor move from a broad theme (e.g. "Prayers by Need") down to a single prayer without ever feeling lost, and a homepage that surfaces daily rhythm, featured studies, and seasonal devotions in one quiet, editorial layout.

On the build side, I customized the theme and templates, category landing pages, article layouts, featured-image treatments, and a newsletter capture, keeping the typography restrained and the imagery doing the emotional work, true to the reverent tone of the content.
